Application for CRU's (Certification Renewal Units)
for School Improvement Planning

Qualified educators interested in applying for CRUs should complete the application online by the deadline: June 30, 2008. Any educator who has earned a master's degree or completed 36 hours beyond the bachelor's degree and who has actively participated in the school improvement process may earn CRU's for work related to strategic and continuous school improvement planning. A maximum of 90 CRU's is all one needs to renew a license in a five-year license renewal period.

Superintendents and/or principals must create usernames and passwords for applicants before they can complete the application form. Superintendents may verify the applications for all certified personnel in the school corporation. Principals may only verify applications for certified personnel assigned to their building. School administrators must verify the accuracy of information contained in each application before it is submitted. The Division of Accreditation, Assistance and Awards will issue a CRU certificate for each verified application.

The PowerPoint Presentations below are meant to assist in completing the CRU Application process.
