ISTEP+ Results Spring 2011

On this page you will find school, corporation and state information and results of the Spring 2011 ISTEP+ test for Grades 3-8.
The Spring 2011 ISTEP+ test is based on Indiana's Academic Standards and includes the following grade levels and content areas:
- English/language arts in grades 3-8
- Mathematics in grades 3-8
- Science in grades 4 and 6
- Social studies in grades 5 and 7
This exam was administered in the spring during two assessment windows. The Applied Skills Assessment, consisting of essay and open-ended questions, was administered between February 28, 2011 and March 9, 2011. The Multiple-Choice Assessment was administered between April 25, 2011 and May 4, 2011. Schools received student scores in June.
The cut scores for this version of ISTEP+ were developed by more than 100 teachers from across the state of Indiana following the first administration of the spring assessment.
Please note: Spring 2011 ISTEP+ results cannot be compared to results from other years posted on Compass or the ISTEP+ Web site, as students whose ISTEP+ scores are "Undetermined” have been removed from the Spring 2011 calculations. While state and federal laws require the testing of all students, there are many reasons students might receive “Undetermined” test results (see FAQs). School results are now reported based only on students who have received test scores in a content area.
