Assessment Guidance and Common Core Additions for 2011-12

The 2011-12 guidance documents included on this page serve two purposes.

1. Assessment Guidance: The Indiana Academic Standards (IAS) have been analyzed to differentiate between the IAS that should be assessed on the ISTEP+ and the IAS that should only be assessed in the classroom.
2. The Indiana Common Core Standards (INCC) have been analyzed alongside the IAS to determine the most important INCC for students to learn in the 2011-12 school year. These standards should be included in curriculum and classroom assessments in order to assist students in transitioning between the two sets of standards.
