The graph displays the percentage of students that have passed both the English/Language Arts and the Mathematics portion of the ISTEP+. The exam is given in the fall to students in Grades 3, 6, 8, and 10. The data on this page include the combined results of both public and non-public schools. Newly revised academic standards will be assessed at Grades 3, 6 and 8 for the first time in the fall of 2002. The standards for grade 10 will be assessed beginning in 2004. Plans have been developed for annual statewide testing in Grades 3 -10 in English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.
