Rate
The
graduation rate is calculated from the number of students who drop out in
each of the grades 9 through 12. A school with no dropouts in a given year
has a graduation rate of 100. Graduation Rates can fluctuate from year to
year, especially in small schools.

Data are reported
as the number of students from both public and non-public schools receiving
a Core 40 Diploma divided by the total diplomas awarded, converted to a percentage.
Honors
Diplomas
Data are reported
as the number of students from both public and non-public schools receiving
a Core 40 Diploma and Academic Honors Diploma divided by the total diplomas
awarded, converted to a percentage. Students who fulfill the requirements
for an Academic Honors Diploma also meet the requirements for Core 40 and
are recognized for both achievements.
