At its meeting on May 24, 2000, the Executive Committee reviewed three options for a new Mission Statement for the Indiana Professional Standards Board, and voted to recommend the following:
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Indiana Professional Standards Board is to enhance the quality of learning for Indiana's P-12 students through establishing, maintaining and ensuring adherence to performance-based standards for Indiana P-12 education professionals throughout their careers.
Executive Committee Recommendation:
The Executive Committee recommends that the Indiana Professional Standards Board adopt the recommended text as its Mission Statement.
