Members Present: Connie Griffith, and Dan Miller

Staff Present: Judy Miller

The Proficiency Evaluation Committee met at 9:30 a.m. at the Indiana Government Center South (IGCS), Conference Room 12, to consider 5 test waiver requests.

The minutes of the June 22, 2000 meeting were approved.

Committee granted 5 waiver requests.

Judy Miller reported that a number of requests were being received regarding candidates for whom English was not the first language.

The committee expressed concern about the implications of waiver approval for the state reciprocity agreements. Judy will explore this and report to the committee members.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
