More Clarification on CPR Certification
A number of you have asked to see an example of CPR Certification. I asked the American Red Cross if we could see a sample and they indicated that they could not share this with us as their template is under lock and key. I have seen an example and it is a wallet size card bearing the emblem of the American Red Cross on the front with the saying, "Together we can save a life." It also shows the date completed, the name of the person and the location where the certificate was obtained. On the back, it includes the signature of the instructor.
I have been told that this certificate is valid for one-year.
Early Childhood Standards and the All School Setting
The Standards for Early Childhood should encompass both elementary primary and preschool. Therefore, if an institution's program is requiring these standards, then their standards should encompass both school settings. Therefore, if institutions are not requiring their students in an all school setting program to meet the Standards of Early Childhood, then they should not be getting either the Preschool setting OR the Elementary Primary setting on the license.
