Teacher Online Licensing System

INDIANA GRADUATES

The Indiana Online Educator System is for Indiana graduates who are applying for licensure and have completed coursework or graduated from an Indiana college or university. DO NOT USE THIS SYSTEM UNLESS YOU HAVE SPOKEN WITH THE TEACHER CERTIFICATION OFFICE AT YOUR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY. All fees are non-refundable.

  • INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION: The teacher certification office uses the teacher online licensing system to recommend for licensure only if/when candidates are instructed to make application using the online system.

FOR IMAP COMPLETERS

If you have received an IMAP completion letter from the Department of Education, you may apply for the Proficient Practitioner License using our Teacher Online Licensing System (TOLS).

SCHOOL CORPORATIONS

A school corporation may enroll beginning educators in IMAP and make mentor assignments as well as apply for substitute permits on behalf of their candidates. If you are an individual seeking a substitute permit or enrolling in IMAP, YOU MUST CONTACT YOUR SCHOOL CORPORATION. All fees are non-refundable.
