CIESC and the Indiana Department of Education Office of eLearning formed a strategic partnership in April 2016 to launch several initiatives. This partnership is a part of the IDOE Office of eLearning strategy for building innovation capacity through educational technology. The three innovative initiatives are the eLearning Leadership Cadre (eLLC), Administrator's Focus Forum, and the LEAD IN Cohort.
The Hoosier Student Digital Leaders (HSDL) program supports schools that provide students the opportunity to develop digital leadership skills in technology integration and innovation by assisting the school community with technology support and through positive models of digital citizenship. The program includes an advisor network and student conferences (virtual and face-to-face).
The Rockstars of Curation foster collaboration among teachers working together to curate Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies digital content. The eLearning Leadership Cadre is a collaboration of Indiana's most innovative leaders in education. In these fast-changing times, this talented cohort will focus on strategic components of 21st century teaching and learning. Members are ambassadors of some the best work going on in educational technology.
Indiana's eLearning Coach Community is a support network for the growing number of eLearning coaches, technology integration specialists, and other professionals focused on helping educators master the art of teaching and learning in technology-rich environments.
The Learning Connection's EdTech Connect Community is an active IDOE communication channel for K-12 CTO and CIO level positions, Technology Directors and Coordinators, school administrators in roles that involve instructional oversight and curricular integration of technology, as well as teachers who are thought and practice leaders in educational technology.
