In its first year, the Indiana Tech Plan was successful in providing data that continues to be useful to the IDOE as well as school corporations. The Tech Plan continues in 2017, providing another snapshot of the strides each corporation has made with regards to integrating student technology and the infrastructure to support it. This model is designed for ease of use and simplicity of information gathered. Further information related to the new plan can be found in this Rationale Document.
Tech Plan reporting will take place in a brief survey each year. This survey will serve as the requirement to qualify for the common school fund, the connectivity grant, as well as grants from the Office of eLearning. This replaces the plans previously accessed through the DOE Online, as well as quarterly reports submitted to our office.
The Office of eLearning will maintain oversight of the completion of this survey. As responses are received, the results will populate a series of maps to house district info and to display trends across the state. 2016 maps are available here!
