Child Caregivers |
We all have occasional problems with ants, mice, files,
wasps, or other pests. But, how do we handle common pests and pesticides
around children?
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a system for controlling
pests without putting children at risk from pesticide exposure.
Indiana officials have developed a model policy for pest management
in childcare environments, including centers, ministries, and homes.
IPM is hosting a Demonstration Workshop on Thursday,
August 19, 2004, in Bloomington. Click to see the flyer
and the agenda.
The State Agency is announcing this workshop to CACFP
participants to make you aware of another training opportunity.
Please see the flyer to contact
Al Fournier for additional information.
