Child and Adult Care Food Program

National CACFP Week

The purpose of National CACFP Week is to promote public awareness of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). National CACFP Week will be celebrated March 14-20, 2004, and the theme is “The Recipe for Healthy Children.”

The Child and Adult Care Food Program Sponsor’s Association (TSA) is the coordinator of National CACFP Week. The Association’s mission is to serve as a national voice for, and provide education and support to, organizations that administer the USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Start planning early. Visit TSA’s web site at www.CACFP.org for CACFP week materials.

We would like to know how your organization plans on celebrating National CACFP Week. Please send information to Carol Markle, Sponsor Support Coordinator, via mail, fax (317-232-0855), or e-mail (cjoyce@doe.in.gov). We look forward to learning more about the activities you have planned for National CACFP Week in Indiana.
