The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) is pleased to unveil a new Web site.
We're gradually improving every page on our site with greater clarity, easier access and smoother navigation. We began by revamping the IDOE home page (www.doe.in.gov), creating a single entry point for all school data (www.doe.in.gov/schooldata) and launching a new online clearinghouse for Indiana's Academic Standards and their accompanying learning resources (www.doe.in.gov/standards).
We've listened to your suggestions and we're confident you'll benefit from these ongoing changes. Look for such improvements as:
- Improved user-friendly design
- Better organization
- Increased readability
- Enhanced access to information
- Greater consistency across state Web sites (www.in.gov)
Communicating a vision for K-12 education as a driving force for a vital Indiana is at the core of IDOE's mission to support the success of our students and our state. Our new online presence will work to support and expand these efforts.
Please check the IDOE Web site in the coming weeks to note our progress and let us know (webmaster@doe.in.gov) if you can no longer find something you found useful on our former site. As with any endeavor in education, our work to sustain and to build upon past progress will never cease.
