• Information on teacher licenses;
a searchable database using first and last names.
• The
data reported on the Certified Employee
Information are data that is collected
from each local school corporation as
of October 1 of the current school year.
If you find inaccurate data listed for
you (other than licensure information), contact
your local superintendent's office. Changes
must be from the superintendent on corporation
letterhead and sent directly to the
Division of Educational Information Systems
(EIS). Changes must include the employee
name, social security number, the incorrect
information as well as the corrected
information.
• If the inaccurate
data involves teacher or administrative
license information, please contact the Indiana Professional Standards Board
at 317-232-9010. Licenses are updated once a week to the database and corrections take seven
to ten days to repost.
• Information regarding salary schedules
is not kept at the department of education. You will need to
contact the public school corporation that you are interested
in to request salary schedules. The Indiana State Department
of Education maintains actual individual salaries for all certified
employees that are employed at a public school corporation. This
information may be requested by calling 317-232-0818.
