Technical support is available throughout the year by contacting Forrest Gaston at fsgaston@schooltechperson.com or 317-289-6843.

Training sessions are held in collaboration with Indiana’s Education Service Centers around the state.

Topic: Assistance setting up a Linux-based Desktop—Available via webinar conferences throughout the year. Specific dates will be announced and/or requests can be made directly to fsgaston@schooltechperson.com.
No fee

Topic: Introduction to Open SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED 10) for Technology Coordinators—Hands-on training to learn how to install Open SUSE 10.1, manage the machine (add users, install programs, configure network cards, secure the desktop, image multiple machines, etc.). Review open source software and set up a basic Moodle server or I-folder server. Email specific requests to fsgaston@schooltechperson.com prior to the session. Bring your own machine or use one at the education service center.
