Touch Red
Objective: to make as many different connections with people as possible
Instructions: Participants will be asked to find someone who matches the given description. Those that meet the criteria will raise their hand to identify themselves. People then move to that person to touch them, trying to connect with every person in the room.
Example:
Find and touch someone who. . .
- is wearing red
- has traveled outside of the country
- has played soccer
- currently has a sun burn
- has attended Butler University
- has been married less than one year
- loves to fish
- has never been on a roller coaster
- has more than 4 children (or 3 or 2, etc.)
- has never eaten at Bob Evans
- has a September birthday
- has worked in a factory
- can dance the hula
- has been mountain climbing
- has driven a motor cycle or four-wheeler
- sings professionally
- has a grandchild
- roller blades or rides bicycle to work each day
- has eaten calamari
- can speak at least 2 languages other than English
- teaches 4th grade
- has read John Grisham's The Brethren
- has ice skated at Rockefeller Center (or Pan Am Plaza)
- was a cheerleader (high school, college, or professionally)
- has sung in a musical
- is ready to start a new school year!
