Strength Bombardment
Time Allowance: 25 Minutes
Equipment Needed: For each participant: pencil, gummed labels, a cardboard "target."
1. Each participant lists the following three things on a sheet of paper:
a. Something I am proud of from (some time periods in their life.)
b. Something I am proud of happened this past year.
c. Something or someone I value and why.2. Each participant writes a word or phrase about each classmate that denotes a particular strength or positive quality of that classmate. These are written on gummed labels.
3. In order, each participant stands before the class and shares the items listed in number one. The class then proceeds to share strengths they've observed in that person by placing the stickers on the target board held by each person, placing those items most like them nearest the bull,s-eye. Those who are putting the labels on must look the one holding the board in the eyes as they say their strengths and put the label on the target.
