How We Differ
Time Allowance: 30 Minutes
Equipment Needed: Make copies of the questions on the next page so that each small group gets only one. Less Paper = More Talk.
1. Divide your original group into grouplets of 3-5 depending on the total number of
participants.2. Ask the teams to find the differences in group members by adding scores for each category listed below
3. Then add up their scores and compare final totals if they want to. At some point, ask them which was more fun; participating, talking, sharing, laughing -- or winning.
Categories (All 1 point)
For each different birthday month recorded.
5 points - born on a holidayPoints for each birth state represented.
5 points - born overseasFor each shoe size over 12 or under 4.
2 points - wearing sandalsFor visiting each of the following: Grand Canyon, Sears Tower, Epcot Center, Waikiki.
5 points - for visiting three
7 points - for visiting fourPoints for each different make car driven to the site today.
5 points - if you car pooled
10 points - if you walkedFor appearing on TV, radio, or newspaper. (You must be mentioned by name.)
7 points - all threePoints for each sibling, living or deceased. Includes adopted, step and half-siblings.
10 points - for twinsFor each continent visited. Requires 24-hour on-ground stay.

15 points - for all seven or AntarcticaPoints for each last name starting with the letters Z, Q, K, or U.
7 points - for X letterPoints for each language (other than native) that you speak fluently.
12 points - three or moreFor each year married (1 person)
3 points - for 10 years
12 points - for 20 yearsFor each state that you have lived in. (Minimum 6 months)
5 points - for six months overseasPoints for each living biological parent.
3 points - for each living grand-parent
7 points - for each living great grand-parentSubtract the youngest age in the group from the oldest, allow one point for each calendar year between the two.
3 points - for anyone over 65For each person NOT wearing a watch.
3 points - NO jewelry (wedding band excluded)For each person who can roll their tongue.
7 points - if you can turn your tongue upside down (in your mouth!)Points for all those with colored underwear (patterns and floral count).
