EVENT CALENDAR

Balloon Trolleys

Time Allowance: 20-30 Minutes
Equipment Needed: Blow up enough balloons so that you have one to fit between each person if they stand in a single file line. For example, if X is a person and 0 is a balloon, the line would look like this: XOXOXOXOXOX.


Steps

1. The challenge is to move the entire group across an area without allowing any of the balloons to hit the floor.

2. A balloon touching the ground may result in:

  • The entire group starting again.
  • The two people who dropped the balloon having to go to the front or end of the line and replace the balloon.
  • The group having to figure out a method to pick up the balloon and re-insert it where it was without losing any other balloon.
  • All of the above. Use whatever consequence coincides with your keen sense of challenge, tempered with a drop of compassion.
