Numbers, Shapes, and Letters Together

Steps
1. Tell students that they will be making shapes, letters, and numbers with their bodies. The size of the group will depend on the figure that is to be made. You can start with groups of three and increase the numbers as the complexity of the shapes increases. Allow the students to decide the number of people they need for the particular figure.
2. Some figures that can be used include:
• any numbers
• any letter of the alphabet
• circles, squares, triangles, “X’s”, double “X’s”
• spell words using the entire class
