The IPLA Alumni Association, Inc. feels so strongly about the need to enhance the leader pool among Indiana’s public schools that it has made a commitment to annually sponsor aspiring public school principals in the pursuit of the academic preparation.

Currently, the IPLA Alumni Association, Inc. provides a scholarship for aspiring principals involved in a non-traditional or traditional administrative preparation program in one of Indiana’s accredited colleges or universities. Each recipient may be reimbursed up to $1,250 of tuition, textbook purchases, or professional development experiences each school year for two successive academic school years, with the total scholarship not to exceed $2,500. Please fill out the online scholarship application and mail in the required application materials as outlined in the 2008 Aspiring Principal Scholarship Program Application Brochure.
