Note: Official Notification for Destruction of Materials will arrive after all test booklets have been processed for scoring. It is very important that materials designated for destruction be checked and monitored carefully. In the past, test booklets with student work have been found in the materials designated for destruction.

ISTEP+/GQE test booklets and supplies are secure materials. It is the responsibility of school officials to adhere to all guidelines for the proper disposal and return of test materials following ISTEP/GQE administration. Duplication of test materials constitutes a serious breach of test security. Prior exposure of students to test questions necessitates the invalidation of scores and denies students the right to participate in testing.
