Indiana
P.L. 221 and the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001
focus on high achievement for all students and
set expectations for schools to improve student
achievement on an annual basis. The Indiana Student
Achievement Institute provides ongoing technical
support to help schools engage educators, students,
and community members in creating a systemic and
data-driven school improvement plan. This segment
of IPLA Today! will introduce the Indiana Student
Achievement Institute and the Vision-to-Action
process they use to help schools create a culture
supportive of high achievement and a systemic
plan for school improvement. Schools interested
in enrolling in the 2003-2004 Institute can download
