Before The Storm is an informative “how to” program on storm drain marking for municipalities, educators and local volunteer groups wanting to educate citizens about nonpoint source pollution and ways we can help protect our water. Many people don’t realize that everything flowing into storm drains is not cleaned before it empties into our waterways. Storm Drain Marking is a great community service learning project for students and teachers.

This program is made possible by a 319 grant of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency administered through the Indiana Department of Environmental Management to the Division of Soil Conservation of The Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
