INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz announced that seven organizations have received Career and Technical Student Organization Grants throughout Indiana. These grants are awarded to support statewide leadership that promotes collaboration among local schools, business and industry, and teacher education institutions.
"I am honored to award these organizations for their continued work to prepare a world-class workforce in Indiana," said Superintendent Ritz. "As an integral part of Career and Technical Education programs throughout the state, these organizations are working every day to ensure that Hoosier children are prepared for the jobs of tomorrow. On behalf of the Indiana Department of Education, I send them my sincere congratulations."
