INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz unveiled a new and redesigned website for the Indiana Department of Education today. The new website is designed to be a one-stop shop for educators, administrators, parents, media and citizens looking for information about Indiana schools. The website can be found at www.doe.in.gov.

“In order to govern well and openly, we need to make it easy for citizens to see what we are doing,” said Superintendent Ritz. “During my first months in office, I regularly heard from Hoosiers that were looking for easy access to information about our schools. With this new re-design, we have made information more readily available and intuitively searchable. However, this process does not end today. As we get input from Hoosiers on the new site, we will be constantly working to improve it.”

The new redesign features sections tailored to parents and students, administrators, educators and the community. In addition, it includes a new data portal for accessing objective data on Indiana schools.
