In 2002, selected schools received a Project 4R's grant to provide and extend educational technologies to kindergarten and/or first grade students. The period for this grant was July 1, 2002 to June 30, 2003. As we approach the end of the grant period, a final report consisting of an expenditure report and two lesson overviews will be due to this office.

The expenditure report, a one-page template is available online at <www.doe.in.gov/olr/4r>. In the 4R’s Project Funding Estimated* Expenditures column, please include the original funding estimate amounts that were in your grant proposal submitted to this office. In the 4R’s Project Actual Expenditures column, please include the amounts expended by your school. Please return this form to our office by August 1, 2003. If you have received an extension, please return a copy of the form with “received an extension until <date of extension>” written on the form. Please mail a completed expenditure report within 30 days after the extension is completed.

Lesson overviews must be submitted online by September 15, 2003. However, you may submit the lesson overviews online prior to this date. Each school is to submit a minimum of two lesson overviews. Lesson overviews must address kindergarten and/or first grade lessons or units that is developmentally appropriate, standards-based, and technology-rich.
