Program Description

The Indiana Department of Education is pleased to announce a technology funding opportunity for eligible Indiana public school corporations. The primary goal of the Ed Tech Competitive Grant Program (a component of the federal No Child Left Behind, Title IID - Enhancing Education Through Technology) is to improve student academic achievement through the use of technology.

Eligibility for the Ed Tech Competitive Grant Program was determined through a technology need index which considered:

  • The number and percentage of students in poverty;
  • The percentage of students scoring below grade level in reading/language arts and mathematics on ISTEP+;
  • The number and percentage of K-12 students for whom English is a second language; and
  • The ratio of Assessed Valuation per student
