Indiana Summer Institute for Technology 2002

 

ISIT 2002 is a three-day workshop that will:

  • Provide you with hands-on experiences to support technology as a tool for development of student-centered projects or units of study.
  • Engage you and other teachers in collaborative activities using the Internet, multi-media, presentation tools, and data organizers to create in-depth student projects.
  • Enable you to create standards-based lessons and assessments using technology activities.
  • Equip you with techniques for implementing successful classroom management and collaborative learning, and addressing multiple learning styles.
  • Build teacher awareness of the ethical and legal issues surrounding the use of technology within the classroom.All ISIT faculty are practicing educators with classroom experience in integrating technology into the curriculum. Resource persons will assist in various areas of technology and will be ready to help each participant.

Graduate Credit

Educators will have the opportunity to earn graduate credit or CRUs upon completion the ISIT workshops. Information about requirements for receiving graduate credit for ISIT or CRUs will be provided upon completion of the registration form.
