The Technology Associates Program addresses the need for technology-related staff development in Indiana's public and nonpublic elementary and secondary schools.
The program provides a cadre of educators throughout the state who are available to present technology-related workshops on a requested topic. There are no predesigned modules. Each workshop is developed by a Technology Associate to respond to the needs of the requesting school or district. Workshops may be from two hours in length to a full day, depending on the topic, and may be held on school days, after school, or on Saturdays--during the school year or summer.
Any public or nonpublic school or corporation may search the Indiana Technology Associates Database [LINK DELETED] at the Educators' Technology Center to identify potential Associates. Once a workshop has been arranged, the school may request funding assistance (payment of honorarium and mileage) from the Department by submitting a Technology Inservice Request Form to the Center for School Improvement and Performance. Request forms are available at <www.indanawebacademy.org> or by contacting Marcia Bolin at 800-527-4930 or 317-232-9125 or <mbolin@doe.in.gov>.
