The Learning Connection
Textbook Adoption
On Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 the members of the Indiana State Board of Education decided to table the textbook adoption discussion until their December meeting. As was the case with the social studies adoption a year ago, board members expressed concern about the adoption process and affirmed their belief that schools should have flexibility to select the best instructional resources to meet student needs.
