Funding Source: Enhancing Education Through Technology - Federal Title II D
Funding Duration: January 2010 - September 2011
Eligibility: Corporations eligible under Title II D (Please note - any school corporation or charter school which is not on the eligible schools list is permitted to partner with an eligible school corporation or charter school)
Overview: The Educational Technology Grant Program offers an opportunity to improve core-subject classroom teaching and learning through the use of technology in Indiana schools. Funds awarded under this grant should support the acquisition of technology and the capacity to leverage the technology for student learning. The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) will fund Learning Technologies projects that align with the State Vision plan to ensure that the academic achievement and career preparation of all Indiana students will be the best in the United States and on par with the most competitive countries in the world.
Award Size: $100,000 - $300,000 (Depending on size of corporation)
Additional details:
- Minimum of 25% of funds must be spent on professional development
- Funding available for partnerships with other schools above base award (see guidance document)
- Additional funding may be available based on performance
