Beginning with the State Police Department 2006 annual inspection a special purpose bus must meet the following in order to receive a valid certificate of inspection:

1) Required emergency equipment: first aid kit; fire extinguisher; warning triangles; seat belt cutter, per current Committee rule.
2) A trailer hitch is prohibited.
3) Locks on service door or emergency doors must meet current Committee rule; Title 575 IAC 1-7-5
