Threat Assessment Training
Dr. Richard Hogue, Indiana State Police Liaison, Hogue and Associates Inc.
Dr. Hogue has served for more than thirty years as an educator. During that time, he served as a science teacher, department chairperson, football and strength coach, high school principal, central office administrator and university professor. His administrative experience includes twelve years as the principal of Hamilton Southeastern High School and thirteen years as the Assistant Superintendent for Operations in the Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation. After leaving Hamilton Southeastern, he served for four years as the Assistant Superintendent for Learning Support at the Indiana Department of Education. In that role, he served Indiana by overseeing several comprehensive and state-wide programs for the Indiana Department of Education. At the IDOE his areas of responsibility included Student Services (school safety, operations and health), Transportation, Accreditation and School and Community Nutrition. He currently serves as the Indiana School Safety Liaison for the Indiana State Police. In his new role, Dr. Hogue assists the Indiana State Police in their renewed efforts to assist Indiana Schools in all matters relating to school safety and security.
This program will provide a comprehensive approach to school safety by examining all facets of a school safety program in an audit format. Participants will review tools that will enhance their ability to conduct their own internal safety audits.
There is no cost for this training. Professional Growth Points, CEU’s and Law Enforcement hours will be available.
