American Council Drug Education’s Facts for Parents (http://www.acde.org/parent/Default.htm) is designed to provide parents with practical advice and up-to-date information to assist parents as they broach a difficult subject.

Helping Your Children Navigate Their Teenage Years: A Guide for Parents (http://mentalhealth.samhsa.gov/publications/allpubs/SVP-0013/default.asp) This guide was developed by the White House Council on Youth Violence and provides useful information and resources to assist parents with their teenage children.

Growing Up Drug Free: A Parent's Guide to Prevention (http://www.athealth.com/practitioner/ceduc/parents_guide.html):  This publication was developed by the Partnership for a Drug-Free America on behalf of the U. S. Department of Education’ Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools.

The Center for Substance Abuse Prevention’s Family Guide (http://family.samhsa.gov/) is a website designed for parents and other adults involved in the lives of 7- to 18-year-olds; the Family Guide Web site emphasizes the importance of family; promotes mental health; and helps prevent underage use of alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drugs.

Indiana Prevention Resource Center (http://www.drugs.indiana.edu/) is Indiana's primary source for alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention resources for professionals, parents and the community.

Partnership for a Drug-Free America’s Partnering with Families (http://www.drugfree.org/Parent/) website provides drug prevention information for parents, caregivers and educators. The site is designed to inspire more parents and other family influencers to connect with their kids in ways that persuade them not to use drugs and includes free materials; an extensive list of additional resources, including books and movies; and multi-topic prevention and early intervention forum – the first of its kind – designed to enable parents to connect with other parents to share information and ideas, and to learn from each other’s experience.

Parents The Anti-Drug (http://www.theantidrug.com/) is a site that is sponsored by the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign and provides a wealth of information for parents.
