Additional Resources (DOE-AT)

Here are some resources and links to help you prepare your DOE-AT (Attendance) data submission:

1. The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for the DOE-AT collection (Item 7) have been recently updated.

2. Certification of Instructional Days is required before submitting final AT data.

3. Subscribe to the STN Listserv for future alerts and clarifications.

4. For questions about this data collection:
Email STN Support (stn_support@doe.in.gov)
Or call: 800-527-4931 or 317-232-0808

New for this year (2005-2006):

  • The DOE-PS is no longer a prerequisite for submitting DOE-AT data; instead, an additional field has been added to the DOE-AT to capture grade level (which was obtained from the DOE-PS submission last year).
  • In addition to submitting data files, you can enter/edit/delete single records in the:
    • "Attendance Input" form (under "Data Transfer");
    • "Student Detail" screen (in STN Lookup); and
    • AT "Conflict Resolution" screen (Edit/Delete only)
  • Previously submitted Pupil Enrollment (PE) records without corresponding AT records will cause the status icon on the Scoreboard to be red. (This means that all schools start with a red icon that, barring any other problems, will turn green when all PE records have a corresponding AT record.)

Also Note:

  • The Application Center will give you a warning if you submit an Attendance record that includes October 1 and you did not include the student in your Pupil Enrollment (PE) data during the DOE-PS1 submission last October.  If you get this error, check - and correct if appropriate - your Attendance data.  However, if the error was a failure to submit correct PE data, this can no longer be corrected.
