Additional Resources (DOE-LM)

The DOE-LM (Language Minority) data collection is now open. Here are some resources to help you prepare your DOE-LM data submission:

1.	The best resource, of course, is the updated DOE-LM Data Layout Instructions, which can be found at the bottom of the STN webpage (http://www.doe.in.gov/stn/welcome.html). (You can also get there from the Application Center, under Info Center on the blue menu bar.) Note especially the NEW Instructional Program Codes for Field 13.

4.	The FAQs for the LM collection have been recently updated. They can be found here: http://www.doe.in.gov/stn/faq/welcome.html
5.	A data input screen is available in the Application Center (Data Transfer > Language Minority Input). This screen offers: The option of entering students manually (one at a time); A checkbox to indicate that you have no LM students to report; and An opportunity to correct records originally submitted by file.
