If your school corporation or charter school anticipates receiving state Full-Day Kindergarten (FDK) Grant funds, it is important that you verify the accuracy of the counts provided to the Department of Education through the DOE-FD data collection. Go to the STN Application Center at http://www.doe.in.gov/stn/stn_application_center.html (username and password required) and pull up the FDK Summary Report under “Message Center>Reports.” The count listed in the first column (Full Day KG Grant) is the number of students that will generate your share of the state FDK Grant funds.

The collection window has been extended until October 26 to accommodate changes that may be necessary.

Department staff members are attempting to contact school corporations and charter schools to address any data that appear to be questionable, but, the ultimate responsibility for submitting timely and accurate data rests with local officials. Please take this opportunity to review and verify the accuracy of your data.
