How to Convert a Reciprocal Permit to an Educator License

This process is available to those who have had their credentials evaluated by the Office of Educator Licensing and Development and received an Evaluation Letter stating that deficiencies need to be fulfilled to establish an Indiana Educator License. To apply:

• When completing your application in our online License Verification and Information System (LVIS), attach a copy (front and back) of your Indiana License being renewed or a copy of your license information from the Indiana Educator License Lookup.  For additional details, please see LVIS Information.
• Submit all materials in LVIS as evidence that you have successfully completed all deficiencies cited in your evaluation letter. Include a copy of your evaluation letter with your submission.
