Media Report form by June 30 of the accreditation year as outlined
in The Division of School Accreditation, Assistance, and Awards
publication: A Brief Overview of the Major Components of K-12
School Accreditation in the State of Indiana.
The Indiana Administrative Code, 511 IAC 6.1-5-6 Media
Program, states:
Sec. 6. All schools shall have a media program that
is an integral part of the educational program. A licensed media
specialist shall supervise the media program. Each school shall
spend at least eight dollars ($8) per student per year from its
22200 account to maintain its media program. (Indiana State Board
of Education: 511 IAC 6.1-5-6)
The eight dollars ($8) per student represents the
minimum regular budget expenditure for the school year during the
period from July 1 to June 30.
