Women's Sports Foundation -- GoGirlGo! Ambassador Team Awards

SUMMARY: The purpose of the GoGirlGo! Ambassador Team Awards is to recognize teams that demonstrate leadership in their communities by inspiring girls to get involved in sports and physical activity.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: School, amateur, community, and/or nonprofit affiliated teams whose members are female; enrolled in grades 9-12; and residents of the United States, its territories, or protectorates. Grants will be made payable to the school, nonprofit institution, or 501(c)(3) organization. Proof of nonprofit status and/or 501(c)(3) status is required (if applicable).

DUE DATE: July 18, 2008

AWARD AMOUNT: A total of $50,000 will be awarded in twenty $2,500 grants.
