The General Assembly passed legislation during the 2019 session to hold school grades harmless for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school years. In essence, a school cannot get a lower grade in 2018-2019 or 2019-2020 than they had in the 2017-2018 school year. Similar legislation is currently being considered for the 2020-2021 school year.
