Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a standardized test administered by the College Board and co-sponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) in the United States. The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) will cover the cost for all grade 10 and grade 11 students. Younger students are also eligible to take the test, but this is not covered by IDOE. The scores from the PSAT/NMSQT are used to determine eligibility and qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
