A diverse group of stakeholders from across the state recently supported the review, revision and development Indiana’s Content Connectors (alternate academic standards) for implementation for students with significant disabilities during 2018-19 school year. This work was completed through a series of stakeholder meetings that included general and special educators, related services staff, administrators and content experts. The group collaborated to review the Content Connectors in all grade levels and content areas, making revisions and additions. This process is critical in ensuring all students, including those with significant cognitive disabilities, have access to grade level standards aligned to Indiana Academic Standards.

Public input is requested to provide feedback on the updated Content Connectors. Please review the draft Content Connectors in each subject area and provide comments using this survey by May 19. Thanks for your valuable input and participation in this process.
