Indiana Department of Education has partnered with Indiana University to make available high school turnkey courses for Indiana educators to implement. These are full courses, aligned to Indiana standards, that can be adopted, adapted, or adjusted by Hoosier teachers to meet the needs of Indiana students. The courses can be implemented both synchronously and asynchronously, in a variety of models.
For each course you will find:
- Course Syllabus – This is a sample syllabus used by Indiana University High School. The individual educator will be able to adapt the language to the local context. The syllabus does provide a course outline, but again, the course is fully adaptable.
- Common Cartridge file – This file can be directly imported into several Learning Management Systems including Canvas, Moodle, and Schoology.
- Google Materials file – This file will allow the course to be utilized in Google classroom environments that cannot consume Common Cartridge files. Be sure to be logged into your Google account. You will have the option to download to your computer or use Zip Extractor to add directly to your Google Drive. How to import courses into Google Classroom.
