Welcome to English Learning 101, a series of modules which cover the basics of an English Learning program. These modules give an overview of the federal requirements that districts and schools must meet for their English Learners, from enrollment to providing services to exiting the EL program and beyond. Each module consists of a video walk-through, with timestamps directing you to specific topics, and linked documents and websites to provide more in depth resources on the topic. If you are brand new to the EL world or just need a refresher on a specific component, we hope this will serve as a useful resource for you. For additional training and resources, please visit the Professional Learning and Resources page. For additional policy-related guidance, please visit the English Learner Policy page.
