Course Description:

Wonder how much of my personality is determined by my genes (inherited from my parents) and how much is determined by how others affect me in the world? Do you want to learn what motivates you and why others find it difficult to get motivated? Curious about psychological disorders and their causes/treatments? Have you questioned the importance of intelligence and the role your IQ may play for future success? If your answer to any of the questions above is yes, this class may be for you! The A. P. Psychology course is designed to introduce students to the systematic and scientific study of behavior and mental processes of human beings and other animals. Students are exposed to the psychological facts, principles, and phenomena associated with each of the major subfields within psychology.
