Course Description:
French is one of the world's most spoken languages. This course, a continuation of French III-1, will continue to focus on introducing students to both the language structures and the cultures of the Francophone world. Grammatical topics will include: the conditional, si clauses, relative pronouns, demonstrative adjectives and pronouns, the passive voice, and the present and past subjunctive. Vocabulary and cultural themes will include: health, the arts, environmental issues, public services, and politics. These themes will help students to develop interpersonal, interpretive and presentational language skills.
