**NOTE: School staff must be available to receive USDA Foods deliveries from their state contracted warehouse at all times including adverse weather conditions, school breaks/holidays, recess or other inopportune times.

1. Schools must have always school staff available to receive deliveries during inopportune times such as school/holiday breaks, recess, lunch, etc.

2. Inspect, Verify, and Accept ALL Deliveries

Inspect Your Delivery and Bill of Lading (BOL)
Verify that your delivery are the correct items and amounts.
Accept the order by signing the BOL

3. Get to know your warehouse personnel and driver.

4. Forecast and plan in advance to schedule deliveries accordingly around school breaks and closures to avoid missed deliveries.
