1. School staff must always available to receive deliveries even during inopportune times such as school/holiday breaks, recess, lunch, etc.
2. School staff must Inspect, Verify, and Accept ALL Deliveries. Schools should follow these steps:
Inspect Your Delivery and Bill of Lading (BOL) |
Verify that your delivery contains the correct items and amounts. |
Accept the order and sign the BOL |
3. Get to know your warehouse personnel and driver.
4. Forecast and plan in advance to schedule deliveries accordingly around school breaks and closures to avoid missed deliveries.
